For avid travelers, discovering new and unseen destinations is the fuel for the soul. Within these new environment, we are stimulated by new sights and sounds that surround us.

Once you travel often enough, sometimes to the same destinations, the interesting things came turn mundane and boring.

So, we want to show you our six destination where, once you go, you will certainly be recharged by your unseen discoveries.

ALMATY / KAZAKHSTAN

The city of Almaty is located in Kazakhstan, one of the countries that separated from the Soviet Union just a little more than 25 years ago. Compared to other countries that we usually visit, this country is quite young, so it’s not surprising that you might not be familiar with the name.

Even though it was once part of another country, Kazakhstan in the 9th largest country in the world! Being similar in size to Argentina in South America, the country is the third largest in Asia, second to only China and India as is the largest landlocked country in the world.

Being this enormous in size, the country had many natural landscapes to explore. The capital, Almaty, is also the hub of the areas for flights to surrounding countries and cities.

Why you must go?

Almaty is surrounded by breathtaking natural wonders: snowcapped mountains, grassy plains, vast desert, clear lakes, and stunning valleys. This is the perfect destination for nature lovers.

Many of the attractions are the numerous national parks, so the easiest method of travel would be by car. However, if you know that you are not that great of a driver, it is advisable for you to hire a driver. The roads are treacherous are those who are easily carsick will probably get to revisit their lunch a few times…

Another point that you should know is that, the further away from the city you are, the closer to nature your restrooms will be… And yes, if you go far enough it will eventually just be one with nature…

In any case, despite all of the ‘adventuring’, what you will get will definitely be worth at least a once-in-a lifetime experience.

VICTORIA FALL / ZIMBABWE

A small border town of Zimbabwe, distinctively separated from it’s the neighboring Zambia by the waterfall of the same name.

Generally, when speaking of Africa, our minds would imagine hot, dry, open grassland, or great deserts like the Sahara. But here at Victoria Falls, the reality is the land covered by lively greens that spawns from the from the river.

The large rivers bring in a massive amount of water, which transforms the barren land, bringing in a wide variety of animals. Animal lovers will get to see animals from tiny rodents to hippos and elephants, grazing and coexisting in their ecosystem.

Why you must go?

Victoria Falls is one of the world’s largest waterfall, amongst other great waterfalls in North and South Americas, its remote location makes this destination untouched by most travelers.

The immense amount of water that falls each day is unbelievable, creating bubbles as if the water is boiling within its gigantic pools atop the falls.

Travelers often come to experience different adventurous activities, such as: crossing over to Zambia and climbing into the world’s most dangerous Devil’s Pool, whitewater rafting from the bottom of the fall, bungie jump, and fly across the sky using various gliding and flying equipment.

Adventurous travels cannot miss this destination for sure, but if that is not enough, approximately two hours away in the Hwange Park will entice any would be safari explorers. Inside the parks, visitors will get an opportunity to meet with an array of animals like: elephants, hippos, rhinos, lions, etc. You won’t see them in one or two, but in herds, this is where you will get to see thousands of elephants roam in the wild.

So, if you are an adventurer, try getting your blood pumping in South Africa.

JERUSALEM / ISRAEL

Counting back thousands of years ago, when humans began to settle, one of the oldest cultures that arises originated in Israel. A country with many holy grounds, Israel is rich is history and tales, the setting of many lore.

Jerusalem, the most renown site in Israel is a holy land with many layers of history settled upon its grounds.

Jerusalem is a city with its own character, a melting pot of all its pervious conquerors. In each of its eras, many tales were conceived. An example are the major events that are depicted in the bible, where Jerusalem is considered to be the origin of everything in Christianity. Christians believe that Jesus ascended to heaven from the Mount of Olives, located to the east of the old city.

The city is also an important place for Muslims, as it is believed that this was where the prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. Furthermore, the Jews also claimed the Western Wall as their holy site as well. One city with three important events from three different believes makes Jerusalem not only precious to the people of Israel, but also the world.

Within the crowded old city, visitors are met with bustling commerce. The gathering of people of different religions: Christians, Muslims, and Jews brings about a harmony of different cultures. Travelers will need at least three days to fully experience all that the city has to offer.

ZAKOPANE / POLAND

When people think about Poland, some might imagine a cold and stoic country, reminiscence of the old communist regime. Others might see the trip being dejected, due to the country being known for the concentration camps.

In reality, Poland is a peaceful and quiet country where the faces are stern but the hearts are kind. Out in Zakopane, a border town of neighboring Slovakia, the Tatar Mountains forms a natural boundary between the two countries.

This town is a popular destination for tourist in the area. Not only for the beautiful nature, the area also hosts numerous activities such as whitewater rafting, skiing, and cave tour. This small town comes alive during the summer high season to welcome tourists from all over Europe.

Even if you are not an active or adventurous person, this town is also a perfect place to relax, take in the view, and listens to the singing of birds from the guesthouses scattered throughout the area. There is also no need to worry about driving. Due to the lower cost of living, travels can take taxis wherever they need to go.

Overall, this town is perfect for both adventurous people and those who just likes to relax.

AKITA / JAPAN

Although Japan isn’t a big country, it is packed with many interesting places to visit, from high-tech wonders, to remote nature retreat.

One of the places that many people have not touched is Akita – a placed filled with beautiful, unspoiled, nature.

Akita is situated in Tohoku, the region to the northeast of Japan. It is in the north of Honshu, Japan’s main island. The area is known for being able to cultivate large amount of good quality rice.

The journey to Akita takes three hours by Shinkansen trains. Once arrived, the station is surrounded by many natural attractions. The best time to visit would be around October, with the leaves changes color to red. Most of the travel in the area must be done by bus or car, but there are still trains available for some areas as well.

Within the Akita province, there are many mountains that are beautiful all year round. One of the most remarkable being Mt. Chokai. The mountain is often compared to Mt. Fuji for its similar aesthetics and characteristic cloud caps during autumn and winter.

The province’s most famous lake, Tazawa, is not only the Akita’s biggest lake, but also the country’s deepest. In between gorgeous natural scenery, the lake water is clear enough to see the many fishes swimming below.

Dahab / Egypt

“So, what else is there in Egypt besides the pyramids?” is a common question people ask by travelers who wants to visit Egypt.

Well, Egypt has more to offer than the pyramids and deserts. Beyond the sandy plains, Egypt has fascinating mountains and a beautiful sea.

Dahab is one such place in Egypt with both a mountainous landscape and the sea.

Dahab is in the east of the country, and is considered to be a commerce town, trading with neighboring Jordan and Israel.

White Canyon is also a place with the world’s highest concentration of the Bedouin tribe. However, before going, one should be aware that Bedouin houses do not have solid walls, so you will face chilly winds in the evening.
