Key Accountabilities:
- Communicate the complex medical reasons that led to underwriting decisions (decline, exclusion, re‑exclusion, voidance, or cancellation) to customers, distributors, and Distribution Teams through phone calls, emails, or letters in a clear and understandable.
- Act as the escalation point of contact for customers / distributors / Distribution teams who dispute the underwriting decision that has been communicated to them by Distribution team. Understand their concerns, investigate the specifics, collaborate with relevant departments and respond to their dispute promptly
- Assist in projects to improve process and quality including proactive feedback to improve the underwriting and product.
- Perform assessment on policy voidance and re-exclusions. Underwrite new applications with complicated medical conditions.
- Perform additional duties to support team operations as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or higher degree in nursing or medical field
- Minimum 7 years of experience related to insurance and customer service
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers.
- Good English both writing and speaking
