We are looking for an experienced Marine Claims Manager to lead, supervise, and manage Marine Claims operations, including performance management, fraud investigation, claim services, technical claim assessment, and end‑to‑end claims processing to ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the Marine Claims team to ensure efficient and accurate claim handling.
- Handle complex marine claims, including cargo and liability cases, and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Manage and coordinate with external providers such as loss adjusters, surveyors, and legal advisors.
- Monitor claim quality, assess team performance, and implement improvements where needed.
- Investigate potential fraud cases and manage customer complaints effectively.
- Oversee subrogation and third‑party recovery processes.
- Prepare management reports, track outstanding claims, and analyze claim trends.
- Ensure compliance with Thai regulations and AXA Group standards on AML, CTPF, and Sanctions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Insurance, Law, Business Administration, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in marine claims handling, logistics liability, or related insurance fields; at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of marine insurance, cargo claims, and liability coverage.
- Experience working with loss adjusters, surveyors, and legal service providers.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle complex and high‑value claims.
- Customer‑oriented mindset with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple cases, and lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with AML, CTPF, and Sanctions regulations related to insurance operations is an advantage.
