We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction & Engineering Underwriter to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To look after all of day-to-day business submission (Construction & Engineering) and/or insurance placement which includes day to day correspondence, CAR quotation preparation and other activities related such as Fac RI business.
- To perform underwriter role according to the underwriting guideline as well as to comply with AXA underwriter referral & other related protocol.
- Support Distribution Teams to ensure the company growth for Commercial Lines (P&C)
- Ensure the profitability with close collaboration with profitability team
- To maintain & develop relationship with the intermediaries.
- Contributing and sharing the technical insurance knowledge within Commercial Lines teams
- Any other assignment may be assigned by the company
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Construction & Engineering underwriting.
- P&C Underwriting & Reinsurance knowledge.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good command of English.
