A Snapshot of Thailand’s Mega Flood Through video!

Living through a catastrophe is a traumatic experience for anyone. Climate change is causing many natural disasters around the world and Thailand is not spared.
Last year, the mega flood in Thailand posed the greatest threat to the country. Floods occurred during the 2011 monsoon season. Provinces located along the Chao Phraya River, including Bangkok and surrounding neighborhoods were most severely affected directly by inundated rising waters. Flooding began in July and ended December 2011. Over 740 lives were lost during this tragedy and hundreds of thousands were displaced..
AXA Insurance Thailand captured the nationwide flood devastation into short video to show the traumatic experience of the Thai people. Most importantly, the objective of the video is to acknowledge how the AXA Thailand Team managed the crisis and what they did for their customers and employees during those difficult times – even as they themselves are affected by the trauma.

The demonstration of strong team spirit, engagement and professionalism by the AXA Thailand team is a true example of how AXA can really be available, attentive and reliable even during tough situations!
