When you have claims
Marine & Inland Transit & Carrier Liability Claims Guidelines

In order to obtain a speedy and smooth service following an accident, please follow the guidelines set out below.

Please provide the below information :-

  1. Full name / contact number of notification person
  2. Name and phone number of the driver.
  3. Name and contact number of coordination at the scene (if any).
  4. Insured name & policy no. & Type of policy
  5. Location of loss and time of the accident.
  6. Registration plate no. and third parties (if any).
  7. Categories and quantities of cargo (if known).

Claims Procedure:-

  1. In case of machinery breakdown, please provide the transfer truck and advance all incurred expenses. Meanwhile, Insured have to prevent the theft of any goods or snap out of the scene.
  2. Coordination with AXA to analyze and decide. Should provide the surveyors in the area to perform. Or arrange the specialist surveyors to check
  3. For accidents during inland transit - If car insurance is righteous - registered car names, addresses of the parties and witnesses (if any) to the data for an accident to the company and in the case of insurance type 3, which cover only. damage to third parties. The company will send staff to serve you in the scene. Or police station (if required) section of track called the next step. You must be conducted themselves.
  4. For accidents during shipping –
          If you believe that you are not at fault.
          A. Note down the license plate number, the name and address of the Third party you consider at
               fault and also the name and address of any witnesses available.

          B. Do not move your vehicle unless instructed to do so by a policeman.

          C. If you accept responsibility for the accident, you may move your vehicle so that it does not
               obstruct traffic flow.

          D. If it is not immediately apparent who is to blame, do not move your vehicle until its direction and
               position in the road have been duly marked and you are instructed to move your vehicle by a
               policeman.

Missing vehicle with cargo:-

  1. Please promptly report the theft to the local city police station and motor robbery prevention and suppression center, at tel. 0-2354-6182
  2. Provide the police with all necessary information including the license plated number, chassis number, color, location vehicle was stolen and the dated of the theft.
  3. If you have any other information that you feel is important, please inform us. The information will be kept confidential.

Claim support document:-

  1. Assured’s statement of claim / Repair bills
  2. Original of Survey Note and/or DMC
  3. Original Policy or Certificate of Insurance.
  4. Original of all ocean or airway bill of lading covering the entire shipment insured.
  5. Certified copy of shipper’s commercial invoice covering the entire shipment insured.
  6. Copy of Packing List (s).
  7. Copies of all delivery receipt with proper exceptions in respect of loss or damage note thereon, as well as any other exceptions or bad order slips and carrier inspection reports, which may substantiate loss or damage.
  8. With regard to non-delivery claims: written confirmation by the carriers involved attesting to their inability to make delivery or Short and Overlanded Cargo List from Port Authority of Thailand.
  9. Copies of written claims against carriers or others, with their reply when available.
  10. Any correspondence or other reports or information relevant to the transit, loss, damage or coverage.
