Enjoy Lump Sum Benefit up to Baht 700,000.- when you are medically certified that you are not able to perform at least 3 of the following activities of daily living

General Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions; AIDS and HIV; Suicide or self-inflicted injury; Any loss suffered by the Covered Person whilst under the influence of alcohol, addictive drugs, narcotic ; invasion; acts of foreign enemies; civil war; revolution; insurrection; civil commotion; popular uprising against the government; riot; strike, terrorist, nuclear weapons, radiation or radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or nuclear refuse arising from the combustion of nuclear fuel and any process of self-sustaining nuclear fission/fusion; boarding or traveling in an aircraft which does not operate as a commercial aircraft.

  1. Who is eligible to apply for SmartCare Long Term Policy?

    Answer: All Thai Citizens, Permanent Residents of Thailand, Employment or Student Pass Holders or Work
                    Permit Holders aged 18 to 65 years old are eligible to apply for SmartCare Long Term Policy.
     
  2. Can I claim from my SmartCare Long Term Policy even if I have an existing health insurance plan?

    Answer: Yes, this benefit is payable in addition to any other insurance benefits you may receive.
     
  3. Is there any “Waiting Period”?

    Answer: Yes, this policy will not cover any disabilities due to illness within the first 90 days of policy inception.
     
  4. Is “SmartCare Long Term Policy” eligible for tax deduction?

    Answer: Yes, SmartCare Long Term Policy is a part of “Parent Care Insurance”. If the insurance will be made
                    for your parent or your spouse’s parent.
